About the project

The historical heritage of the Scandinavian countries is always present when designing a project. In this case, Åstadveien street in Asker starts at Billingstad station, and gets its name from the Åstad farm, which it runs through. Parts of the road are remnants of an old horseback riding trail and to the east, single-family homes from the 1920s remain unchanged, while other areas are undergoing densification with newer housing and programs. For our images, the relationship with the environment, nature and the very essence of the place was important. We had to concentrate on a correct interaction between new projects and what remains untouched. One of our main approaches for these illustrations was the proper application of atmospheric lighting and details, as well as the use of specific materials and colors.
